CEO Dennis Thurman has been an industry leader both in California and nationally for his work in Energy Efficiency, ENERGY STAR, USGBC, Engineering, Construction & all facets of Commercial Real Estate over his 38-year Career. Mr. Thurman has done over 1000 due diligence reports & property condition assessments, as a licensed general contractor has built buildings from the ground up and retrofitted half the high rise buildings in So. California, and has worked on projects all across the country. He is one of the top Instructors for BOMA International, the NEEC & BOC, EPA ENERGY STAR, USGBC-LEED, IBEW local 11 @ ETI in commerce and for I-Train for the Work investment boards. His honors include: The EPA’s Leadership in Energy Management for the Nation in Commercial Real Estate 2004+2005 (Accepted awards in Washington DC from the secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham & Samuel Bodhem. The EPA’s Sustained Excellence in Energy Management for the Nation in Commercial Real Estate from 2006-2012. Awarded Green Leader by the Commercial Real Estate Journal in 2009

DON WHEELER

Cold Frame Steel Framing Design and Manufacturing, is a licensed general contractor and custom homebuilder with extensive experience framing both wood and steel. Steel is Don’s specialty and he has been building with steel framing exclusively since 1997. Working throughout Southern California, Don has built large complex custom homes, 5 story multi-family and commercial buildings, and has provided and shipped custom framing kits for assembly in Hawaii. Don’s use of CSF framing and intelligent construction contributed to a total of 12 LEED points that helped a large house in Orange County achieve LEED Platinum certification. Don has a long track record building with steel and brings many years of experience, developing an unparalleled knowledge of the potential of CFS framing.
